Thanks for the offer! We are in Kentucky right now. We will be in Kansas sometime next week so I’ll probably send it on to that friends house and I should be able to do it there. Just the decision on what to get and not breaking the bank on it.
Well got my hydra this morning and got it in before our 5 hour trip to Conway AR. Ran the heavy tow tune and the light tow tune and really couldn’t notice a difference between the two besides heavy tow having a little less. Max boost I get now is 20 psi at wide open throttle in 3rd. 4th I can only get up to 10 psi. I have to call Dusty about my transmission anyway because it’s still shifting kind of hard. Anyone have similar results?

Is that loaded or unloaded? Mine would hardly boost enough unloaded to surge. Add a 10k trailer and it would boost significantly more and surge to the point you couldn't maintain speed on a slight incline.

Thats loaded with my slide in camper and trailer behind it. Max of 15,000lbs combined but lots of drag. When I had the TS6 chip I would see a max of like 27-28. Put the hydra in today and on the light tow tune I get a max of 20. No surge at all anymore which is nice but lost a lot of power compared to the 50hp tune on the TS6

I would assume your new transmission has pump and valve body mods. If so, you'll need to have Dusty supply you with valve body tunes.
You could also try loaded up a valve body tune off the PHP server and see how that runs. I suspect that will make a big difference for you.
Yes it does and he gave me the custom tunes for the modified transmission but I think they just might need some more tweaking. When I connected the hydra to the software on my computer I didn't have any options for the modified valve body tunes with the PCM I have.
