I had to weld up my frame at the steering box and add a plate on either side. The steering box moved 1/2" to passenger side. Rag joint is out of the question due to misalignment. I tried https://www.summitracing.com/parts/brg-013434, but need a double joint. However, the double is too long to fit in the space. That means either shortening the column or buying a new one.
Does anyone have experience with this? This is the double that I was looking at: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/brg-023434/overview/ Is there a reason I couldn't add on to the column mounting bracket, where it mounts to dash, allowing it to adjust further up from the floor?
