Could someone post a pic of the inside of their stock wipers ? Trying to keep my stock but having a hard time finding springs. Even if I do unsure if they can be installed. I see only one point that they would attach to on mine in the pic.
You have one hole circled, but on the base end where the shaft is, was originally a stiff flat hook with hole that held that end of a tough spring. Look at new ones in store (Advance, Auto Zone, etc) and you'll see. I gave my OEMs away to a friend and a week later he wanted me to modify a set of black later J hook style for him. Seems one of the OEM '77 springs broke on him and he lost parts too (good timing on my part …. no?)..
