Wiper Arm Ends?

Was trying to replace my wipers over the weekend on my 1977 F-250 and I broke the plastic tips/clips on the end of the wiper arm. (I broke one, one was already broken.)

It looks to me like I need the entire arm assembly, but when I look up part D6TZ-17526, it doesn't show any plastic on the end. Is this a seperate part? Or should this be included with the new wipers and I just don't have the right adapter?

Here's a picture of the wiper arm from ebay:

My $8 Autozone wipers had it incorporated into the blade.

Sometime back I posted my route to updating my arms and blades to newer hook style, and they all are black and with new arms came new stiffer springs for more wiper pressure. They work absolutely great now, no skips, no chattering. If you are decided to keep silver OEM, ignore the following. Later then ......

Tbear, it looks like you used the whole assembly from the new wiper and just shortened the length to fit? Looks like a great idea my springs are weak and don't keep the blade in contact.

FYI... you're tech thread was memorialized in the tech thread sticky. Again, good job.

That's it exactly .... and there is a wider variety of styles and grades of wiper blades available like the Trico NeoForms with Teflon in the rubber and the new beam types that have no place for ice to build up on those sleety days.
