I agree, some people need help to get on their feet....then pay it forward when times are better.

There is a panhandler who drives his van to where he holds his sign asking for money-also about 100 yards from a tomato field where i have witnessed him begging while 15-20 workers were in that field WORKING for their money. Pisses me off

Happy Friday all. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
That panhandler could work the tomato field and make money. Of course, the key word is work...

If that were your tomato field, would you hire that guy? A lot of employers are challenged by people who want the paycheck, but don't want to work for it.

If that were my tomato field, I would harvest it, and then grow strawberries. I would give the guy a chance and see how well he performs. If he does nothing, or barely picks any, then out he goes.

Hey guys looks like we have a couple days to dry out , weather guessers ( as Jim says ) says another storm but will die out once land fall, we will see .
ive been taking a liking to the new Ford F-150 platinum , my wife and I have spend two weeks car hunting for lil bubbles and finally she deceided on one , Her Truck is sold as of last week so we were in kind of a crunch, as they were looking for Economy models , I was browsing pick ups too ,lol , don’t tell them , they had my undivided attention ,( kind of ) until she drove the 2018 Kia Soul aaaaaaaaaannnnndddd that’s what she wanted , so not too bad , drove nice , got a extended 8 yr 150 thou Warrantee , new tires, clean no dents . Now back to my Hunt , what chu mean we’re out of time and we need to get back home , I’m truck hunting , oh well I’ll sneak out next week when nobody’s looking .

Hyundai Kia probably has the best warranty. Especially when you consider how Honda & Toyota only offers 3 year warranties.

Was very sunny & bright here yesterday. Weatherman last night was saying we have at least 7 days of dry ahead. I, for one, am ready. We've racked up over 35 inches of rain since January 1. Only had a handful of non-rain days in the last month and a half. Although this morning, we appear to be fog-bound. Bright fog, but fog non-the-less.

Down here @ SFO, I am looking West, and there are dark storm clouds up on Skyline Boulevard.

It started to get a little blustery within the last hour or so, and we even got a smattering of rain, but the sun is still shining (mostly).

Either too much rain, or no rain for months on end. Got to love California...Not.

As I left Portola Valley, for the Sand Hill Road ramp onto InterState 280; I glanced over my shoulder and it still looked ugly up the hill.
