Yay it's Friday!!
Going to try and wash the Suburban today at lunch. I have a busy weekend planned getting ready for our trip.I am going to finish detailing the Suburban, packing and getting stuff loaded into the truck. Looking forward to the warmer weather of central Florida!! I ordered some new longer phone charging cords and a 4 way cigarette plug. I have to make sure all the electronics stay charged while on the road.

If I can find my bleeder Lexie would be happy she does not have to pump the brakes
Chief, hope you and the family have a safe fun trip. Is the Star Wars area open yet? I've been to Disney once, my 6th grade field trip was to Epcot. Haven't been interested in going back until now. Let my niece get a few years older (9 months now) and might have to suggest a family trip to Disney. Highly doubt I could get dad to go to Disney, but he might be persuaded to hang out at a campground with a fishing pole while we take Kimber.
I'll be heading towards Richmond Hill (GA) about the same time you leave for Florida. Mom wanted to do a family get away, so I'm headed out to meet her, dad, and sister's family. Mom reserved a cabin at Fort McAllister State Park for the long weekend, and scheduled a 6 hour inshore fishing trip for Saturday. Me being on swing shift, I'm usually going to sleep just before they usually wake up and the boat is casting off about the same time. Not sure how it's going to work out, but we don't get together like this often enough so I'm going to make the best of it.
Josh have fun with family. I be in Warner Robins Friday.
Bleed the brakes twice on the Mazda. On that truck you bleed rear brakes together . The rt wheel cylinder feeds the lt. The left has the bleeder. Got to the lt front had a bad bleeder, so trip to Orileys get on and bleed the brakes again. With the air bleeder it not bad. Started makeing the flat bed permant . No heavy stuff today.
I mowed the front yard, weedeated, cleaned the weeds out of the flowers beds. I also detailed the Hummer, the Suburban and the Maserati yesterday. Put a battery charger on the lightning to keep the battery topped off since I have not driven it in a while. I also put fresh batteries in the camera and charged the camcorder batteries. Also started getting stuff together in one location. Today we are going to town to get some pine straw for the flower beds, a stop at Walmart to get some snacks and last minute stuff. Probably going to wash the Lightning too, the inside is good. Going to fire up the old Ford tractor and work on the driveway as soon as the sun comes out.
I got the suitcases out of the basement yesterday morning and put them in the living room, Little man got up yesterday morning saw the suitcases and asked where are we going. I said we are packing to go to Disney World. The wife moved them to the bedroom so now every time he goes in the bedroom he touches them and says: We are going to Disney World in Orlando to see Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse too!!
Star Wars Galaxy's edge opens the end of August. We are thinking of a return trip during the fall so we can do the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party one night, not even thinking of going anywhere close to Hollywood Studios if we do.
Do you ever slow down and do nothing? I need to weedeat . Got a mess to clean up. Lexie puts birdseed out tpfor the birds, she was putting some by the fence. The problem is she would put way too much out the birds would not eat all of it next day she would do the samething. Now there is a nasty pile of the stuff. She helping me clean it up this year, last year I did and ask her to stop doing it.
Today is finish the flatbed to get tge Mazda driveable
Mostly no.. It's rained every weekend for the past 7 weekends so just trying to get caught up on stuff.
Put pine straw in the flower beds, made a trip to Wally World to get stuff. ran the trash to the dump, put a new starter in the big 4 Wheeler. Never got around to working on the driveway. Grilling burgers and dogs and then packing tonight for our trip.
I am glad we have had good weather. I decided to work on the Mazda. It almost ready for the deck to be installed got to get hose for the fuel fill . The taillights took the longest and not 100 % done.
The Woodie looks good!
Loving the weather myself, got a lot done over the weekend. Pollen all over the cars again but they looked good for a day. Used the AC in the Suburban yesterday because the truck got hot sitting in the parking lot, it works so good. Don't have to worry about the wife getting hot.
95 Percent packed, can't really finish till Thursday morning. Starting to get real now!!
Thank you. I should have the deck boards on today, that be as far as I can go till next week when I get the stake pockets and tiedown rings .I noticed you treat a vacation like a deployment. I do the some of the same. Preplanning The first cruise some stuff I packed early. For a normal trip pack the night before.
My wife was commenting on Saturday that the Army did teach me to be ready for any thing that might happen. I have my small air compressor, a tire plug kit and small tools in the truck, I also have a jump box I'm taking. I do not like surprises, especially on the highway. I like to get things organized so on the day we are leaving we find out we don't have this or that. Checked the weather and it only looks like a 10% chance of rain so that's great news since we have a pool side room. I can take little man to the kids play area on Friday so he can have fun.
I went to paint that machine today. My god. I underestimated this and overestimated my ability. Needless to say this thing is pretty cool. And im definitly not afraid of maxing out a man lift anymore. Although up that high it feels like the basket got a ton smaller.
Dr appointment today. Hopefully they can tell me what is going on and how we can fix it.
Getting a small cooler out of the basement tonight for the trip and putting a few more things in the truck. The wife tries to play it off but I think she is looking forward to the trip since it's not going to be as rushed as the first time. She realized last night that Friday is a slow day. We will finish driving to Orlando, spend some time at Disney Springs and then maybe hang out at the pool and relax. Our first fastpass at the Animal Kingdom is not till almost noon on Saturday so we won't have to get up real early.
