The package deal is ok but it can get a little pricey. We have a barely used 1 series with a loader and belly mower that is a lot cheaper. Going to take my little JD lawn tractor to work and get it fixed after the grand opening next week. It will be nice to have my riding mower going again. I am getting excited now since we leave 3 weeks from today for vacation!!

I got the OK from my boss to put in the AC compressor in on Saturday morning as long as the corp folks are not here.

Giving a quote on what i need for paint. So ill show up to work about noon tomorrow haha. But as soon as I leave my garage I am able to clock in, and I will be getting paid per mile.

Then next week I will go back, and I will actually be doing the paint work.

When I bought my tractor I did a custom package. I have all the lumber cut for the Mazda flatbed. Just waiting on the led taillights so I can drive it out to the land and build the flatbead. May have to do some here. Once that is done hello 250. Still weighing which way will be cheaper rebuilding the E4OD or going manual with a T 18/ 19. Finding a ZF5 for a 2 wd diesel is as costly as the E4OD if not more after clutch , master cylinder, possible drive shaft mod. The older transmission loose overdrive. The truck is not going to be a daily driver it be when I need to haul or pull something .
so glad the rain has stopped for a few days. Actually got a sunburn on top of my head.

He is 54 !! Don't let the kid fool you he is too, we watch Mickey Mouse clubhouse every night. He is a lot more aware of what's going on around him now than the first time we went. I have a feeling I am going to hear, "look daddy" a million times on this trip. If it wasn't for me wanting to get his first haircut at Disney World we probibly would have gone and done something else.

Yay!! It's Friday and of course it's raining again.

The daughter picked up a nail in her tire so I plugged it last night in between rain showers. The windshield trim piece I ordered for her car is supposed to arrive today. I have everything ready to do the AC compressor on the Suburban today. With it cloudy and yucky I should be no problem working on it at work. The carb died on my backpack blower so I ordered a new one, good thing it's a Stihl and we sell/service them. Time springs forward tonight ! It will be nice for it to be lighter longer in the evening. Bad thing is starting Monday we move to summer hours. Open till 6 during the week and Saturdays 8 to 4. My boss only makes me work every 3rd weekend so not a huge deal.

We actually save nothing with daylight saving time. It just shift the time it gets daylight and dark. I wish we would do like everyone else and stay On one time. Only 48 states in the world do it Az and Hi do not.
The tag lights will be in today. The taillight the post office has not updated the satus from a reccecive awaiting acceptance. I researched it what it means is the shipper use the form that let them do 50 tracking # at a time vs scanning 50 packages. What is suppose happen is once a package starts moving thru the system it should up date. From what I read an employee has to change it, they are government employess.

I got the new compressor on with very little fighting, vacuumed it down and it passed the leak test. Filled her back up with Freon and that is the coldest AC ever!. It has never worked that good since I owned it. Luckily while working on the compressor I found a broken clamp on one of the cooling system hoses. I had some clamps in my tool box so I changed that out. Getting ready to change the engine oil and filter and she should be good to go for the road trip!!.

The machine I have to paint, is to say, a beast. WOW. Im excited and honored to work on it. It truely is one of a kind, and the first of its kind.

And this weekend im not sure if I broke, dislocated, or just really hurt another toe. Its been 24 hours, its not black and blue.... its not swollen, or its minor swelling, but weight on it hurts.. Nailed it on a moveable object. But it has made me relax this weekend, so thats a plus i guess.

Jacob when you get in tgthe e classified R and D world you see a bunch of stuff you can not talk about , that may or may not go into production. Boieng use to have a facility called the " Sunk Works" it was highly classified for military aircraft development I think the SR71 was one of them.

You do need to take some time off every now and then.

Down here we had a Saturday without rain. Ran 28 boards thru the planner that brings the total to about 60. Still have that many to go. Then it getting uniform width and doing the tongue and groove. So we can go from this

to a nice floor.
Here what I have so far

those are 3/4 " x roughly 6" and around 8 ft. Pine

Another dreary day in north GA. Going to pull out the suitcases today and start getting our clothes together. Since it’s such a short trip we won’t need a ton of clothes. Definitely can’t wait for the sunshine and shorts weather of central Florida. Going to pop on the daughters trim piece when it quits raining.

I got to go an Armor conference one time at Ft Knox. It wa cool looking at the concept stuff they were trying to sell to the military.

oh i know. its a nice change. Ill be able to talk about it when pictures get posted online through the company. Right now it is a production machine, the first 4 will be at this yard I went to the other day. It would be sweet if I got to get some pics of me actually painting and touching it up on a crane, or just me standing next to it. It would be awesome.

Yeah I know. Guess this toe forced it on me. I do feel relaxed, but bummed not much got done around here. Today was definitly a better day as far as being able to walk. I hope tomorrow im almost back to normal and not looking like an idiot. A bruise finally surfaced, and I think I fractured a bone, no redness or swelling, or bruising around the joints so its not dislocated. I must have popped it back in, or reset it the time it happened. The main room in my house is next to tackle for the ceiling. Doing that tomorrow. Im alost to the point Im ready to look at flooring and ordering my crown moulding.

Jacob if you broke it all you can do is tape it to the one next to it.

Everytime I start planning the crap pine I had milled last year. It was suppose to be 1 x 6. I trying to bring it down to 3/4 the max my planner will do is 3/16 so I figured 4 time an 1/8 at a time some of it is taking 8 to 12 passes

Spend most of yesterday afternoon in the emergency room. CT scan says I have some inflammation of my pancreas. I have had a pain there on and off for years but it got to be unbearable. At least i know what it is and we can get it treated. It should not effect the trip in any way. I popped on the missing trim piece on the daughters car and it looks a ton better. Looks like the daughter and future husband are moving in together sometime next month. It's a house that his parents own right across the street from them. I am sure my wife is going to be crazy for a little while after that. The first bird is leaving the nest.
