I got a majority of the shop back together by myself, my 2 mechanics were out on a field service call.
Bought a new 1/2 drive impact off the Mac tool man. The cheap Chicago Pneumatic impact that I had was 100 percent worn out. It barely had enough torque to take off lug nuts.
Have to work today, most of the sales staff will be at the Flower and Garden show in downtown Rome. We stay open till 4 so I will probibly spend most of the day watching useless stuff on youtube!
Just remember how much closer you are to work. You only work every third Saturday?
I brought a load ot 1/2" live edge and 1x 6 planks home to start on reroofing and siding on the shed
I had to work today because the regional president was at the store for the flower and garden show. Probably won’t have to work next Saturday and then the following weekend we will be at Disney World!!
Pretty sure it's going to end up being my gallbladder, I ate spaghetti for dinner last night and thought I was going to die, rough nite and only about 4 hours of sleep. The pills they gave me knock down the pain enough to go to sleep for a little while. I have a GI appointment next tuesday, If they suggest removal I just have to suck it up till after our trip next weekend. We were busy as heck yesterday, with the sun out and no rain people were calling and coming in all day.
That looks good, I like the rough cut look. We have been insane with business the last 2 days. I have been wide open from open to close. MRI is scheduled for Tuesday morning and GI appointment on Wednesday morning.
8 more days till vacation !!
Thank you. I have a bunch if it 1/2 to 3/4 " thick when I am done it be 22 x12 with a 12 x6 tool room. For now just got to get it waterproof again all my stuff is getting destroyed
Got the one side finished today. A friend sent me a message wanting to know if I was working at the land Friday. So I cut all the stuff for the 12x6. The next wall is one that will be extended 6 ft. Makes sense to do it before I put the sid8ng up
Looking good Hugh!
With it sunny and not raining we have been busy as heck. I did not eat lunch yesterday since we were so busy.
We depart a week from today!! I will have to work half a day and then we will haul butt south. Good thing is I will miss the crazy Atlanta morning traffic and be out of town before the evening rush.
Yea the traffic is always crazy.
If I take I-20 to 285 and can make it past 6 flags by 1:30 or 2 at the latest then it should be pretty smooth sailing from there on out. I may just get on I-75 in Cartersville and head straight down thru downtown.
Not as crazy at work today, got a bunch of machines finished and ready for the owners to pick up. No drop off's today so that was nice for me, not so good for the business.
Finished pulling the old siding. unloaded the trailer. Planed a bunch of stuff down to 3/16. A friend sent me a text yesteday wanting to know If I need help out at tbe land Friday. So going to cut 18 1x6x8 , 10 2 x4x12, 30 studs, 10(of 27 needed) 2 x 8 x12 and 10 2x6x 12. The 2 x8 green are about 40 # each. He thinks it take both of us to move them. He cant understand how I do all this stuff by myself. I dont want to insult him why he can not. He thinks driving a 26 ft straight truck is hard
