ScanGauge XGAUGE Programming

Hiall,

Recently purchased the ScanGuage II to help track down an issue I was having (resolved now) but I am going to mount it for real time monitoring. I found a crap load of posts with programming codes but they are intermixed between 7.3 and 6.0. Some odes for the same functions have different values. Been trying them but it seems I am only getting about a 50% success rate on working codes. Does someone have a link to a post or webpage specifically for the 7.3 tested codes to eliminate the codes that don't work? My truck is a 2003 7.3 F350.

I know some who use scan gauge but I there has been a lot more info provided to Torque Pro.

Everybody is focused on Torque Pro nowadays, so maybe you can get some clues from Torque Pro formulas.

The value displayed by this XGauge is only valid after the coolant temperature gets above 127* F. Before the engine is warmed up the displayed value will go up to 255 this about double actual then start over at 127. This is becasue this PID is scaled for two different ranges. It works good on my 2000 7.3 and seems to be accurate. This has been a long sought after XGauge for the 7.3 crowd for quite some time.

This is a good way to see how long your glow plugs are staying on. They will stay on for quite a while after the engine is running and the glow plug (wait to start) light has gone out.
