I know alot of people are anti digital gauges BUT with the amount of stuff they do and the fact that i am not going to go extreme with my truck i figured they should work out good.
Heres what all it does. Plus i added a EGT probe for it.
A1C-Ford Powerstroke Supported Parameters (PID'S)
INTAKE AIR 2- Intake Air Temperature taken at the throttle body inlet

MANIFOLD kPa- Manifold Air Pressure (kPa)
BOOST – Boost Pressure
MILES PER HOUR 2- Miles Per Hour
TRANS TEMP- Transmission Temperature
RUN TIME MINS- engine run time since last engine start. Can be used as a trip timer.
BATTERY VOLTAGE- Alternator/battery output voltage
PULSE WIDTH- injector pulse width in msec.
ENGINE OIL TEMP
EX. BACK PRESS – Exhaust back pressure
ICP DC – Injector Control Pressure Duty Cycle
ICP – Injector Control Pressure

CURRENT GEAR – Current Transmission Gear
**NEW** User selectable logo. Choose From: Generic, Cobra, Lightning, MACH 1, Marauder, Harley, Mustang, and TBird.
**NEW** Annunciator feature allows shift lights to be used as warning lights. Set any parameter to trip the lights above or below a preset value. Perfect as a trans temp, coolant, or oil pressure warning.
**NEW** Universal code works on all 96-03 Fords. User selectable paramaters allow only the specified parameters to be displayed. **NEW** Cyclical function allows the gauge to cycle through parameters at a given speed and duration.
Records up to 60 seconds of data. No need for a Laptop, you can datalog 2 parameters per gauge and play them back second by second.
Read and clear trouble codes - clears "check engine" light.
Simply plugs into OBDII connector under the dash. Fits standard 2-1/16" gauge pods.
Calculates MPG, ¼ mi, 1/8 mi, 0-60 and ET's
Adjustable dimming, reverse display, and data rate.
HP adjustment allows even the highest modified vehicles to obtain accurate readings.
2 Analog inputs can be individually labeled and configured.
Nolan, I love the idea, but what all did you have to buy for all of that?? I would love to do that.. but the cost for every input??? It has to add up pretty quick??

No it all those things it monitors using the stock sensors on your truck! All i had to by was the EGT probe. It just plugs into your OBD2 port. i went with the dual gauge kit, so i will be bale to monitor 4 things at once. But changing from one thing to another is just a button away. AND i will be setting parameters for everything so that if anything gets to hot or too cold or to high or too low the warning lights will come on and it will automatically go to whatever triggered the lights. All this plus the data logging the ability to see and Clear DTC codes, and run 0-60 times i just cant pass it up
not knocking this, just asking.. but how are you going to watch ic temps? there are no sensors for this, or the boost as compared to map? i though the reason we choose gauges were to check against what are computer tells us? i get the gauges, i think their are cool as all get up.. but do you do one, and have the rest as the regular gauges to compare to? sorry Nolan for sounding the fool on this, but it wont be the last time i am the fool on something.. by the, in case you didnt know.. baby is in the other hand. screw caps for now...
I'm going to order one shortly as well. But since I have the "big three" already, I'm just adding oil pressure & coolant temp sensors.
As long as he doesn't need a boost fooler, he can use the MAP sensor for boost all day long. What I/C temps are you talking about? There is an AIT and a MAT sensor (AIT- is pre-turbo, MAT is post-IC. The only measurement you don't get is the temp between the turbo & I/C...
Sounds like a cool setup, clean too. As for what Pat said, and to see what kind of feedback you get from what he metioned, interesting. Alot of functions there, good luck with it Nolan.

i went to the advertisement, this thing can do a lot!! But it mentions a lot of things our truck dont look at.. so I was asking , kind of, what can be added to this gauge so as you can see everything it mentions.. I might need to relook at the advertisement, but now that I have, it appears to be like a functional scan tool.. Kind of cool.. but then.. do I wan tto see what the engine os doing, and then what my engine thinks its doing by having both sets..and for me.. I already have sensory overload watching the gauges and the smoke at the same time

understandable points!
i will be adding the EGT probe. "Each gauge has two Analog inputs that you can use and label." The EGT will take one of those. And the gauge will know how to properly display it. Same as ANY other sensor you might want to ad.
i have been researching this product for over 6 months. I have talk to numerous vendors of it and people that own one. EVERYONE is amazed by this gauge. A good amount of people have done comparisons with this gauge to their analog gauges and this gauge has proven to be accurate.
So all and all i guess we will have to wait and see!
i will be doing a full write up on install (giggles because all i have to do is plug it in) and a separate write up of features, abilities, likes and dis-likes.
