Burnt Smell/Odor from Engine Bay

I have a 2017 Ford F-250 with the 6.7. Last week I took it up to the snow through the mountains for the first time it did great but since then i get this occasional burning smell inside the cab and in the engine bay. Doesnt appear to leak anything. Any ideas on what could be causing this smell?

Oil Change was about 2k miles ago
no Dash warning lights
no error codes

Truck has only 22k miles on it. All stock aside from Level and 37's
any input would be appreciated

I get that too. Dealer said nothing wrong. Wondering if it's in regen mode or something. Don't smell it in the cab, but once I park and get out, it smells like something is burning.

The new trucks seem to have this smell more than the older ones did during regen. Mine sometimes smells like burnt brake pads, other times more of a burnt plastic smell.
You'll get used to it

I assure you it’s the filter heating up. Once you hit 10-12k, it will disappear.

Mines over 15K and I still get the smell after regen. Don't really think about it any more.

By 10k, mine was gone. By 20k, the smell was definitely gone. So was the truck. 😆

I'm at 18K - mine does it once in while also - so did the 14 Ram before the F250.

Howdy,
Would you guys describe it as a burnt rubber smell? I had this last night and thought a plastic bag got stuck to the exhaust. Looked all under the truck and didn't see anything.
