If I remember correctly the 64/68 sxr and 364.5/68 sxe share the same 68mm turbine and housing

Not with my injectors. I think it would be to tight. That’s my opinion anyway. I still have a sxe 63/68 brand new in a box. Shoulda tried that but time never allowed. Kinda glad I ended up not having installed it.

sxe wheel, different for sure.
Any chance you could take off the compressor housing to get a better look at the compressor wheel?

IIRC the center shaft/turbine wheel are the same, bearings same, exh housing same between SXE and SXR. Differences are comp housing and comp wheel inducer exducer ratio (and maybe some geometry changes but I haven't seen the wheel yet).
