Question 1947

Does anyone have pics of where the 6 wood cab to frame blocks go on the frame. Fixing to put new cab on frame and not sure. Thanks

I believe the kits come with six blocks, but typically only four are used. There are two blocks at the front cab corners and two at the rear just to the rear of the fuel tank (sorry no pics). There is an area forward of the rear mounts that can accommodate blocks, but all the trucks I've seen don't have a hole going through the floor to bolt them in. I suppose they could be mounted there using a lag bolt through the top frame rail to secure them as there is a hole in the rail, but not the floor. My truck didn't have them in this location, from the factory as far as I can tell.
