Intro of the Daddyo

My 1942 ford 1.5ton. Progress is slow but steady.
2 speed rear. Changed the frame due to the orignal being swiss cheese. More to come later.

was your frame rusted or bent. nice job on cab. are you making your own floor or the bracing is to keep cab together.

The frame rotted from the inner C-channel to the outer. It looked solid but you could press through a point that looked solid from the outside and make a hole. The bracing is the way it is for both reasons keep the cab together and provide a solid foundation to build a custom floor.
