I hope I`m wrong but it sounds like you might have just experienced the beginning of your APIM going bad which is a known problem but then again, it might just be a system glitch.
If you still have a blue screen or even if you don`t, try a soft reboot which is accomplished by pressing and holding down the power and track forward buttons at the same time. When your screen goes blank, don`t panic/freak out....LOL, this is what`s suppose to happen so just release the buttons and the SYNC system will restart itself.
If you continue to have the same blue screen problem or other SYNC problems that I won`t go into, you should take your vehicle into your Ford dealer so they can check your APIM.
Sorry but join the Club!! Well known issue with these Fords.. Several threads on it. Have been waiting on my service appointment to get mine replaced. At least I got 3 months out of it before it started going south on me.
I took mine in today and dropped it off Told em to call me when it’s fixed. I got a 12 valve Cummins that the radio works in lol i’ll Survive. I had mine exactly 6 months and 26k miles on it before it went out

If they have to replace your APIM, it`s not something that can be fixed in a day or two. They will have to order it and it could take awhile. Mine has been on order since October 2018.
Oh yes, that`s about the same mileage I had on my 2016 when I started to have weird problems and yes, the APIM in your 2018 truck is the same as my 2016 F150.
