I received the boxes yesterday and installed one today. I really liked them and the installation is very
clean. No need to drill holes or use self-tapping screws. It all mounts on existing spots in truck.
Bolts pass through the existing holes on the bed frame and nuts tighten from behind with lock washers by taking the tail light housing off:
Installation looks clean:
The locking bracket mounts using the 4 bolts that hold the boxlink plate in place:
I liked them a lot and I was only going to add a rubber stop to the locking bracket so that it would close tight, under a little tension to prevent any rattling. But, I had to return them 😳
The problem for my needs is they stick out past the wheel well and I need all the width to fit my ATV in the back:
Were these the Ford units or aftermarket? Would your atv fit with one box installed?
Bought a set made by swing case. Saved some $$. I love them!
I really liked these boxes: very well made, clean install and perfect for my storage needs. My problem is specific to needing all the space between wheel wells free. The bed is 69” wide at the floor but only 55” between wheel wells.
They come off easy enough if you need to put your ATV in the bed. If you don't have a tonneau cover I'd recommend a padlock to keep them from walking away!

Not worried about theft. With the tailgate closed they can’t swing out and be taken off. It’s a good design.
I don’t want something that i have to take off and or on again and move around the stuff inside.
