Turkeys suck! Shot one at 30 yards this morning. Heard the arrow hit hard. Ran off with the flock like nothing happened. They all disappeared out the back 40. Couldn’t find my arrow, so it either went through and buried in the ground, or there’s a big Tom running around with an arrow stuck in it. There goes one $15 broadhead.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE DAY!
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Overcast - Fog, been hanging in at 36° for the last couple of hours.
Warden says we are going to Son's out laws this evening. DiL's dad is an old Combat Marine - DAV, VFW. Both of us have been told we have to behave...Navy - Marine game is on for tonight!!!!!!!!
I'm off this week and next week. Checking the calendar it looks like I'll be off the week after that too!
