Stealth Module - Any experience here?

https://www.stealthmodules.com/produ...=1468068331538

Wondering if anyone has tried this product and have any first hand experience with it. I had a 6.0 with SCT and Gearhead tunes before buying the '16 6.7. I like the pep around town when I had the 6.0. The 6.7 just seems a bit sluggish sometimes. I'm not looking for a race truck or really even better fuel economy, just a little more pep (advertised to reduce turbo lag). I'm out of warranty with 56k miles so not worried about that either. Also all stock.

Pretty big list of benefits for a 5 minute install! I've never heard of that company, but that doesn't mean it can't be a solid product. I would research it more, and try to find reviews from real customers. I'm not sure where it's sold, but I have caught Amazon a few times, with doing fake reviews trying to boost a product......just sayin.

That's what I was looking for. Thought maybe someone here may have tried it. It is not an Amazon product. (edit) After re-reading your comment, I realized you may have been referring to the "raving" reviews on their website. That is why I came here with my question, to get more of a real world review. Thanks.

Quite a bit of info on this thread, although it gets sidetracked like almost every other one on here haha.

Yep, kinda looked like a warranty war going on in that one. There were a few that had something to say about the module, but mostly just arguing over warranty logistics, which I am not to concerned with. Thanks for pointing it out though.

I've looked into it. There are way too many 4 and 5 star reviews. I'm sure the lower reviews don't get posted. As a matter of fact, I've left 2 bad (1 star) reviews on another company's website and the owner deleted them. I'm waiting for real world reviews too.

One thing that concerns me, is early in that thread. When a company has been accused of spamming, that is a big RED flag for me. If it was that great, it wouldn't ever have a need to pat their own back.

If I was you, I'd look for another tuning option...

Are you out of warranty? Your powertrain warranty is five years, 100k miles. You still have a bit left.

I thought it was 5/50k miles. I'll have to look. I bought it used.

5/60 is on gas, 5/100 on diesel. Powertrain only of course, your bumper to bumper was up at 3/36k.

There have been some interesting discussions by Gale Banks about different modules. You would have to sort thru all his videos to find the right one. I did a quick search and found one about tuners on Duramax engines. You might find it informative since it discusses how some companies tweak the fuel and what effect it has.

Here is what I found on Ford Owners Site. 5/60k on powertrain, 5/100k on PS Diesel engine.

I'm glad you posted that up because I had a DuraMileage module that I had on my truck that I pulled off because of Gale's video. I believe that it's the same tech as the Stealth and Dr. Performance modules. I never had better fuel mileage and my regen intervals decreased in mileage because of the over fueling. IMHO, save your money because the claims aren't true. Don't waste your money like I did. If you want to tune your truck with emissions on, look into 5Star or DP-Tuner that actually tune not only the truck, but the transmission as well.
