Will, I seem to remember some pics of that area, in the "coffee table book".
It's at the top of the 6.7 thread listing under "Read First" 6.7 Tech Folder.
That might be the same as the block heater plug. ??

I'm not seeing where it would be located. Unless your talking about the oil pressure switch on the filter housing.

Ford does say use a long length ball-ended allen/hex wrench to remove the block plug to drain the passenger side coolant during a flush and fill. Could this be what you are seeking?


NOTE: Use of a long ball-end hex bit socket eases removal of the drain plug. Remove the drain plug and drain the coolant from the RH side of the engine block.
Install the drain plug when finished and tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb-ft).

Just crawled under my truck and there is a hex plug located just above the starter right behind the motor mount on the engine block. It is not visible from under the vehicle with the starter in place. It's visible through the passenger side wheel well. I could not access it to determine the size.
