The 1500 does... still called the Quad Cab. Ram has 4 cabs in total... regular, Quad (extended, 1500 only), crew, and Mega (bigger than crew, 2500-3500 only)

Dodge introduced the first extended cab in 1973, calling it the Club Cab.

Ford Super Cab introduced in 1974.

Mid-year 1965 for Ford, prior 1961/65 Crews had exposed rear door hinges, different shaped rear door window frames than the 'factory' version.

Crown Coach was one of the aftermarket body makers that converted Regular Cabs to Crew Cabs.
