LED conversion for 17 F250

I have a 2017 Ford F-250 diesel truck that has the halogen lights. Spoke to business about converting the lights the lights to led for better light pattern and color. Told me to get the Silver Lux by Putco. Color is great but the light pattern is very good. After watching all the you tube videos it appears most led conversion have a better pattern. Am I missing something? Did I buy the wrong bulbs or is there something more I need to do. Thanks.

I hate to tell you this but you`re opening up a big can of worms with this topic so be prepared. Here`s the most important thing to remember about said conversion. The OEM halogen housings are "NOT" designed for LED bulbs.....period. In my opinion, you`d be better off with a brand name/higher quality/higher light output halogen bulb that was made for the OEM housings. Also, make sure they are aimed properly.

thanks. I’m wondering why they sold me these. Looking like an expensive mistake.

Led bulbs

Go to headlight revolutions.com those led bulbs work perfectly in the halogen reflectors. There not cheap $300ish but a Led conversion is $2000 plus. There’s cheaper led’s on eBay but I’m not familiar with them.

Have you looked at these at all? I have the factory LEDs but if I had halogen lights I'd totally go with a set of these and put an HID bulb in the projectors. I've done quite a few HID projector conversions on cars/trucks I've and I still prefer that light output to LED, but that's my personal opinion. For any conversion kits checkout retrofitsource, they also have led kits.

Go with the Anzos and convert everything to LED. That is what I did. It is hard to find bulbs that fit, but I found some that did and work well.

I have the anzos. What led did you find to fit?
I was told not to put led in the projectors

These for the turn signals
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0755F9G1P/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0755F9G1P/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
, I didn't need load resistors because I used FORSCAN to turn off the bulb outage.

AND Headlight Revolution for the side markers.
