Mine was quite a screamer. Once you start building boost the whistle is pretty overpowering Can you post a pic of what you did under the hood? Just for curiosity sake
Nice! I used a 3” pipe and cut angles and welded it together then wrapped it with header wrap. I needed to make a smoother angle but it was a late night job for a truck meet the next day and we needed some sleep lol I like that bus downpipe idea
Well we pulled hubs down this Weekend and installed new seals and had rotors turned as well as new brake pads. And then decided to weld the rearend up while we where at it.
Sorry guys no update on 2door shorty but thought I’d give update on the axles we where putting together for the 2wd extended cab dually. To sd 4x4 axles which where finally installing.
I know not the greatest pics but I’ll get more next weekend. So far we’ve gotten the 4x4 frame inserts welded in reverse shackle installed. Shock mounts installed and measured for shocks. Also we are doing a full fsuperduty hydrobooster and master cylinder swap with new powersteering lines and pump and most likely a red head steering box.
this truck has been a crazy build currently has rosewood 180/30 we installed a while back. We have a mark fugazzotto efuel kit to install. Along with a intercooler kit from obsession diesel and we have a sam wyse stage1 trans ordered for it as well. And a new ranch hand bumper for it.
Well while waiting on shocks and a rear pmf block we got frame cleaned and painted. It’s still wet why it looks so glossy it’s a satin black. Installed lower side of marks fuel system built my own wiring harness for it with his supplied relay. Repaired some nasty wiring splices someone had tied into the main chassis harness as well.
Next thing on list is drop tanks and install new pickups in them. And get all the hydrobooster conversion done as well I will try to post a parts list with part numbers for that as well.
