Well I know this isn’t on topic with this thread but figured you guys would like seeing a truck I’m currently building for a customer at my shop. 1995 f250 extended cab long bed customer is doing body work I’m doing all the mechanical stuff. Installed a set of 160/100 injectors. Installing 6.0 intercooler and trans cooler along with a set of Carson Shaffer intercooler pipes. And RiffRaff intercooler boots he already had a d66 with 1.00 housing installed on it. Also running a hydra with jelly built tunes. Then the cool part I’m installing a set of 2005 f250 axles purchased a trac bar mount from absalute diesel another member used it looked slick figured I’d give it a try.
Have a question for you guys or maybe someone running a hydra with jellybuilt tuning throttle is insanely touchy on this truck. For instance you really can’t idle up unless your wanting to idle it to 2000rpms. Going to message and see about a reflash or something just wanting to see if this is common with stage 2s or just in tuning. I know that without chip it’s way touchier than stock but not this touchy at all. As it is with the chip installed.
Well have some more work accomplished on truck have it running have radiator and trans cooler hooked up. Front brakes are hooked up downpipe is also in. Had issues in beginning with throttle not being responsive long story short a 96-97 engine bay and dash harness half to stay together and 94.5-95 engine bay and dash harness half to stay together.
Well got bed bolted down and cab bolted down along with chassis wiring in. Speedometer works but fuel gauge doesn’t work will dig into that later. Planning on getting interior installed over the weekend hopefully.
Well we got the complete 96 donor wiring harness installed over holiday everything except the fuel gauge. And abs valve on frame work I half to swap the abs valve to correct year to plug in. Along with trace wiring down to figure out why fuel gauge isn’t working. But had to do the first burnout Of im sure the many to come.
For sure it’s very easy to navigate in Just half to finish installing sway bars and few other things. Also plan on seeing if we can lower truck a bit more hopefully anyway.
