Did you get a computer for a manual trans truck? Or one for a different transmission than you have?

Not all automatics use the same PCM. I was sent one for my 93 that was for a 4.9L / C6 combo. Mine is a 4.9L /E4OD. the C6 one will not work. I finally got the right one from another place.

What were the numbers off your original PCM? What are the numbers on the "new" ones?

Whomever you are getting the replacements from are most likely sending a PCM for an AOD equipped vehicle. The AOD is a mechanical transmission. From your description of the issue it appears you have the electronic controlled E4OD transmission. Post the Trans Code listed on the sticker located on the driver side b-pillar.

The key numbers are F2TF-MB. That PCM is listed to fit 1992 F150/25/350 trucks with 5.8L engine and an automatic transmission. It does not state E4OD or C6. Are the numbers you showed in the first photos from the original PCM?

Can you post a photo of the Calibration code on the driver side b-pillar? Some folks can decode that to determine what your truck came with (PCM) from the factory.

Example:
Name: kZsMkp5.jpg
Views: 27
Size: 46.7 KB

Also try running the KOEO tests and Stored Code display. Perhaps you have two issues going on.
