Just purchase a aftermarket rear sump screen from Moroso, Canton, ect and modify it to work with the stock pan.
The one I have for my Canton rear sump road race pan would work if I extended to tube to reach the bottom of the stock rear sump pan.
Canton's 16-871 pickup is for their rear sump 4x4 pan that has a 8" deep rear sump, you may have to shorten the pickup some but that's no a big issue.

It would depend on how close it is to fitting the pan to start with.

Probably shorten, that pickup is for a rear sump pan with a 8" deep sump, my road race pan has a 6" sump.
It'd be easier to cut a section of tubing out and weld the screen back on than to have to add a section and have two weld joints.
