My truck just flashed a message that a new software update was uploaded and installed. Looking at the screen, I am still on vers. 3.0, but the build number has changed from 18025 to 18093. Anyone else seen an update and does anyone know where to find what changes or improvements we might be able to see?
I just checked the ford owners site and it shows update v3.0 is available. I’m already on 3.0. The build may be different but the update info is blank. I think I’ll wait, just in case.
Maybe this will fix my issue of it telling me it is trying to download a specific file that was already downloaded with the first 3.0 update. I had to turn off automatic updates to stop the error message.

Nope, mine still tries to download that file when I asked it to check for any updates, just to see what would happen. So far, mine has stayed on sirius and has not switched back to AM or FM. I guess we will see how long that lasts

well, started truck this morning and sync 3 defaulted back to AM. I don't see any improvements from the update to build 18093 yet. I was hoping they might correct some of these issues. Hopefully we will see a new version sometime this fall.
Tried this one - first one I've had trouble doing. Have the files in the ExFat drive - couple of files, folder with tar files and it hasn't recognized it with engine running, plugging it in, waiting over 10 mins a couple times.

yep same here complete PIA ! Im in the middle of doing it now I think. usb is loaded in the lowest usb drive below climate control (I have a Lariat) taking a ridiculous amount of time.
Mine's not even starting the process... Strange. Hopefully they fixed the "start my truck in AM radio and pretend to start up over 10 minutes" bug... Anyone have a list of what's in the update?

I did this update a few days ago and it updated over WiFi without any problems in my 2016 Lariat F150
More than likely, this was just an enhancement to 3.0 before the next full/real update comes out which if SYNC stays on schedule, should be before the end of the year.
Okay at least Im not the only one... I plugged mine in and it never started. I did a WIFI over my phone and it was taking way too long. Ford update is so difficult every time. They don't have an easy way to tell you which update you're getting or what it does so can decide if even want it. I figured it was the same update I did last week but I reported that one successfully.
