Every little bit helps, but the Club isn’t the protection that many think it is. Thieves don’t fight the Club, they just snip the steering wheel with bolt cutters...
And... vote republican. Yes, they’re far from perfect - until you compare them to the democrats...
Both will take the country into the ditch (you pick the side of the road) if not restrained. The only way to keep the stupidity in check is to make sure neither party has absolute control.

The club works. I bought 200 clubs directly from the Winner Corp to equip our company cars after we were having 2 stolen every month in Miami. They stopped our thefts immediately.
I had my 2000 f 250 stolen, recovered, then another attempted theft.
Second time I got them on camera. I had installed a steering wheel club. They broke the door lock, got in, saw the club and took off. Went down the street and stole another truck.
My bright red club now sits proudly on my 2017 F350 dually at night. I lock the wheel at a turn to make it harder to grab the truck with a rouge tow truck.
We used a steering-wheel Club all the time back in the 90s. I haven't had one since, but I think I'll get one for the truck to use when we travel. I really don't want to have my tow vehicle disappear overnight in the campground.
they broke into my wife Miata (In a heavily patrolled (hospital) lot.
they dont seem to bother my soft top wrangler (manual trans).
my 2004 F350 was broken into twice...once thru the keyhole (I installed jimmi jammers after that).....next time they just smashed the window ($75 and 45 minutes later it was replaced & re-tinted).
WE LEAVE NOTHING, I mean NOTHING in our vehicles.....and if I have to - I lock it stuff in the safe or cover it up (black interior, we have black towels to wipe up spills and cover things up).....I TRY not to let the truck out of our site or I avoid driving it to high crime areas.
IMO its about creating multiple barriers...Alarms dont work, but they create noise / draw attn, Jimmi Jammers in the doors slow 'em down and I have a plug that I can remove to prevent fuel pump turn on.
A club might not stop them but it'll slow 'em down and if they dont have tools to eliminate each barrier they'll move on.
Easily bypassed with a signal amplifier. It takes less time to steal a car with intelligent access and push button than it does a physical key. Watch the videos I posted above.
Not to say that it can`t hapen but i`ll believe it when I see an actual video of this happening on a Ford vehicle with Intelligent Access because every brand of vehicle with a similar system is different.

Yes, i`ve seen this before but notice they didn`t show it working on an Intelligent Access Vehicle without using the remote to lock the car. I should have been more specific in my previous reply. I have intelligent Access on my 2016 F150 and I never use the remote to lock my vehicle. I just use the black button on the handle.

Your fob is still transmitting a signal when you push the button or it wouldn't allow you to push the button because the vehicle and fob exchange data to determine the fob is outside the vehicle.
It is also transmitting to determine how close it is to the vehicle for you to unlock it with out a button.

I need help with several questions here.
I’m still learning the truck. If we want to truly lock our Honda Pilot including setting up all security alarms we need to use he fob and hear the horn beep.
Is that the case with my ‘18 F350 Lariat? Do I need to hear the horn to know all security is in place? I mean I can lock the truck without the fob with with the securicode pad on the door. When I do that, are all my security alarms in place? If so, when in public I can do that without sending the signal out to every thief in the neighborhood. ( or does the securicode pad usage also send out the signal as well) Or does that just lock the doors without the alarm in place? ( It’s not so simple as locking your vehicle 20 years ago.)

the horn honk is only an audible confirmation that the vehicle is locked...a single tap of the remote, door handle touch or via the combination/key pad locks the vehicle AND enables the alarm.
the FACTORY installed securicode keypad AND the door handle (intelligent/proximity) lock are WIRED connections - their action doesnt initiate a radio signal.
the numeric (securicode?) keypad is not paired w/ the remote - so no radio signal is used when operating the keypad.
I can also use my cell phone to lock, unlock and remote start the vehicle.

first, this is very helpful info. Thanks.
So with your phone, do you still need the key fob to be present while driving, or can you go in a trip w/o your key fob.
Can you verify this? We’ve been mentioning radio signals of key fobs being intercepted by the bad guys,
but aren’t we always in some kind of threat that the bad guys can steal your key fob info out of your pocket just like your credit cards. So it’s not just USING your key fob that is the way it can be hijacked, correct?

youll need a key or (proximity) key fob to turn the ignition "on" regardless of which remote start system you use.
with the cellular remote (start stop lock unlock) you can start the truck start/stop/lock/unlock from anywhere - 100 or 1000s of miles away (annual subscription fees apply).
proximity key fob are always sending/receiving a signal - but for the most part its just NOISE and a thief is not necessarily able to easily match your fob/signal to a specific vehicle....as I understand it they WATCH you lock your car w/ with your remote, capturing the signal and visually matching or pairing that signal to your vehicle.
