78F350,so he states.Vin says F250.Check out the front u-bolts,they are semi round (should be square) and they look like they were cut and welded!!!!!I wonder what else is wrong that you can't see???
What a hacked together POS! Seriously a 9 inch rear in a f350? I love the cute track bars that are bolted on with u bolts. Those must do a ton of good. The leaf spring u bolts are also high quality and done wrong.
I'm not 1000% sure, but there's a very good chance that, at the very least, these pictures were all taken at different times. At the worst, it would be two different trucks, at least from the underneath shots. One pic has the gas tank black, the other has it painted red. There's two pics showing two different sets of ladder bars and different shocks, among other things. I haven't sold anything on ebay, but if I was, I would be sure to take pictures of the rig from all angles on the same day in it's current form to at least show what it looks like now. If there was work done and you want to show what was done in the past, that's a different issue. Also, it says it's had 5500 miles put on it since it was completed and the odometer shows 5500, did he roll that back to zero when he rebuilt the engine? Just my thoughts.
Also two different rear ends, like the 9" that was pointed out in the underneath shot by Ford390gashog and then in the rear shot of the truck you can see it has a different rear end.
I like the paint though. That's all I'm givin' him.
It's gotta be two different trucks. Even one of the underneath shots shows coil springs on the front. I need to stop looking at that listing. lol. It's really bugging me. I don't even care if it's a "4x4 with a 460 that never existed that year" when it says it was restored. I'm just really bothered by the pics. Ok, I'm stepping away. lol
Looks good to me, but I'm not much for spotting errors under a 4WD chassis. Looks like a good truck to bring back to closer to original underneath, although Arrest-Me Red wouldn't be my first color choice for a Dentside...
I've never even ridden in something that high. Wonder what it feels like...
I'm pretty sure the picture with the black tank and 9" rear was mistakenly in the guys folder with the other pics he used. That's a 150 or Bronco, you can see the coils up front. All the other pics seem legit. Other than calling it a 350, being outrageously priced, and lifted too much..It's not bad.
If you ever took the truck off road you'd probably need new fenders after the first real hard bounce that the front end takes, maybe its just a pig with lipstick.
