I have a 2017 F250 SD that is less than a year old. Over the past several weeks, the SYNC system has had issues, including a delay when touching the screen (often up to a minute or more), the backup camera staying on when the truck is in drive, CarPlay not working at all, and the screen remaining on for minutes after turning the truck off, removing the key, and closing the door.
Yesterday I took it into the dealer for an oil change and asked them to check it; they said "It's definitely messed up" but were not able to fix it by the end of the day, so I'll have to take it back.
Before that I had done a reset of the system and a manual download of the latest version, but the problems remain and seem to be getting worse.
Anyone else having similar problems? I'd love to hear of possible solutions. It's an expensive truck that really should be working properly at its young age!
same issues here...seems to have gotten worse with the 3.0 update. Dealer keeps doing master reset so I guess we have to wait for the next update to see if that helps. 3.0 also rendered Apple Car play useless.
I'm on the latest version and have zero issues. I would get it replaced under warranty, should be a pretty easy argument. Just go sit in a brand new one and use it for a second and say this is what mine should be doing it, fix it.

Mine definitely got worse with 3.0. Before that, never had an issue.....now there are USB connectivity issues and my power button wont work for 2-3 minutes. Resetting the APIM doesn't do anything.
