Yes that is the post I was referring to. Is that something the dealer can do ?
Probably, but I suspect most won't do it because it may violate some federal vehicle lighting regulation. I'm surprised my C-shaped halos stay lit (full bright) on both L & R sides when I use the turn signals. Most other vehicles with LED DRLs will shutdown one side when that side's turn signal is activated.

most dealers dont have a clue in how to change some of these things - and in many case theyre not aware anything else (aka forescan) can change / edit either.

1. is the GLARE of the C Shaped LED obstructing the view of the TURN SIGNAL (when turning) - that is, can you see the turn signal flashing when all the lights are on AND the C Shaped LED is on HIGH.
2. Will the high power / full brightness shorten the life fo the C Shaped LED
I called my dealer on this and they had no clue but the same thing happened when I asked them about the DPF screen. Hopefully someone here can post the values that need to be changed so that I can show them...Thanks

We use Forscan to make value changes. Ford dealers use IDS and their screens appear very different with "enable / disable" options (or yes / no) without displaying the values we see in Forscan. As an example, HERE are the screen shots from IDS to enable DPF% on diesel trucks. My dealer didn't know they could enable DPF% using IDS until I showed them how. Asking them to comprehend Forscan is way out of their ballpark.
