Hi guys this is my 1st post I have been looking on here about a year now. I have a question I have seen a couple of f250s at night and I see that the c shape led is real bright at night compare to mine. Is this something new for 2018s or can I do it to my 2017? Thanks
The C-shaped DRLs on my 2017 KR with LED headlights will dim when the headlights are burning. They also burn dim when I remote start my truck. When burning only as DRLs (using the auto headlight selection), they are brighter. And again, as soon as the headlights come on when it gets darker outside, or when the wipers start running, they go dim. I've done a number of Forscan mods, but that one is not on my to-do list.
Might be something to that. Mine seem to be bright AF all the time.
X2 on the AF. I know my '17 dimmed but I think my '18 stays bright. At least that what it appears like looking at the reflection in a store window. People in the store were probably wondering what I was doing.
I dont see anything in the the Forescan spread sheet that addressed dim/bright C/Halo's
Theres only one configuration related to the C/Halo's and it's for DRL configuration.
is the HALO full bright when the switch is set to park?
Mine don't go full bright when just the parking lights are selected. My HALO (C-shaped) lights go full bright only when the headlight switch is set to automatic, it's daylight outside, the wipers are off AND when the transmission is in any gear other than Park. In automatic mode, they go from full bright to off when I shift into Park.
