finally found my EX
This thing is cherry, always garaged taken care of and modified by someone who takes care of their vehicles and will spend whatever it takes to properly maintain and modify it. I don't know if "western hauler" did excursions bit it has all the custom stuff "western hauler" put in their fords in 2005, real wood trim on the dash and doors, custom console, custom seats,2nd row captains chairs, lojak, its been studded, upgraded turbo, the most expensive polished banks power pack system which wouldn't be my first choice BUT its good quality stuff. Its got every service record. I plan to add 20" wheels and tires, V/B spring swap, hellwig rear bar, super hitch and landyot radius arms it is up their in price but I neg a few thousand less. I have a 2004 weekend warrior 30 ft alum sided triple axle toyhauler I want to be able to tow with this. the only bummer is I wanted white but I can paint it. It has a lot of highway miles too, look at the steering wheel and left edge of the drivers seat..Here it is https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=487585310&zip=92691 &referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D92691%26fuelTyp eGroup%3DDSL%26startYear%3D2005%26sortBy%3Drelevan ce%26incremental%3Dall%26firstRecord%3D0%26endYear %3D2019%26modelCodeList%3DEXCURSION%26makeCodeList %3DFORD%26searchRadius%3D500&startYear=2005&numRec ords=25&firstRecord=0&endYear=2019&modelCodeList=E XCURSION&makeCodeList=FORD&searchRadius=500&makeCo de1=FORD&modelCode1=EXCURSION

fwiw, ford uses the same tank on a gas or diesel model, fuel filler neck is slightly diffrent but the tanks are the same part number.
I think that it's a liability/ leagal issue more than physical issue with nearly all of the aftermarket tank makers. The tanks are the same and a creative owner can ( and some have) used the Titans and others on gassers. A far less costly option would be to leave the stock 29 gallon tank and add an EX 44 gallon tank where the spare tire goes for a 73 gallon combined load, just need to find a new home for the spare tire.

You forgot to add towing mirrors to your list of planned mods.

That is a very clean looking wagon, congrats and good luck with it!

I'm not biased at all....not one bit

The Jack Bauer/FBI black with grow on you, it didn't have to grow on me because it's what I wanted. Since your '09 F350 is a cherry and the 6.0 Excursion already had the work done, I don't think you'll be in a bad position at all. As you see from the Unquestioned V10 Tow-Master, Tom these Excursions can pull the weight while sitting up and begging for more.
The fuel tanks on these trucks are actually closer to 50 gallons. Since I harpooned the tanks on both my trucks, if I run the tank close to dry, I can get just under 50 gallons in it as opposed to it cutting off at about 40-42 gallons.
Welcome to guzzle's In-tank Harpoon Mod Web Page
The PO did you a solid if he also got the banks intercooler too. Lose the Banks Chip, but the rest of the hardware is a nice added bonus.

but I can’t avoid the elephant in the room, $28k for a 6.0 is insane !
However rather then go on my normal rant about 6.0s I’ll point out that the market seems to be valuing these lower mile 6.0 Ex’s right up there with the 7.3.
These are all in my area.
