They will work fine if you use the daytime running light option also.
Sure will. I set mine up with FORScan so that lower headlights and fogs are both on for DRL. People say that they know who's coming down the road at them before they meet me because of the light setup.
I think that the lower headlights are the default DRL anyway on non factory LED trucks.
I do not have a problem with getting pulled over at anytime but some people do. I eat breakfast with LEO's and they use this "non factory lighting" as an excuse to pull someone over if they suspect something or if the light shines up too far and is annoying.
Yes it is legal for them to do this just know what you are getting into. When I used to replace my lighting systems it was expensive one was almost 2k (was on a Raptor Jeeps are a lot less expensive) they were perfect.
Biggest problem with aftermarket LED lighting is the reflector, one reason the light is not distributed evenly if it is a projector style reflector. Make sure the electronics are potted correctly and oriented up and down to keep moisture out. Most of this stuff at least the cheap stuff is Chinese. Even on the Bosch stuff always applied extra sealant. Have also over time seen heat from the led bulb cause distortion to the point of failure of the housing.
If you are going to do this research is your friend on the components you use. Nothing worse than being 700 miles from home and you lose the lights!! I carried spare relays always and it saved me more than once.....

My truck is factory non led and it runs all 4 of the headlight bulbs, just no parking lights or fogs when I turn the daytime running lights on.

Good info for those just delving into this. I actually didn't know this myself. My ideal setup would have been just parking lights and fogs but I didn't find a way to set this up through FORScan. Maybe it's possible and I missed something. At any rate, I'm happy with the lower 2 headlights and the fogs.
Did the full Beamtech treatment today. The fog lights took all of 10 minutes to swap out. Most of that was trying to figure out the indexing of the new bulb. The second one went a lot easier. I tried to remove the bulbs by pulling just the snorkel and windshield wiper fluid filler tube, but I couldn't, for the life of me, get the factory bulbs to break free. I ended up going the old school route and pulled the grille and the light housings. Still had to use a pair of channel locks to break the top one on the driver's side loose. Everything else went fairly easy. Took me a little over an hour to get it done, but I also did some cleaning while I had everything torn apart.
Now it looks like a modern truck. I'm happy with the outcome. Got the bulbs off of eBay for under $100 bucks, so that was even better! Thank you all for figuring this out and finding decent, economical bulbs.
