I have a 2018 F250 with the Halogen OEM lights. I am looking to upgrade to LED. After calling Ford and getting a quote (~ $3000), I am looking for plan B. I have come across Anzo. Is anyone familiar with these or run these lights? LED with switchbacks. Thank you

dont have experience with anzo or these but have read a lot about them. Morimoto is supposed to be top notch. Morimoto
FWIW, The Retrofit Source sells OEM LED assemblies for 2 grand. Still expensive but cheaper than buying from ford. I'm skeptical of Anzo, or any other aftermarket head/tail light assemblies because the plastic they use for the lens always seems to be inferior to the OEM. I've seen multiple aftermarket lenses turn yellow after only a year or so of being installed, If I had spent $700 on Anzo/Recon lights, I would hope they look good for the life of the truck. Also, a coworker I mine has had Recon headlighhts on his f150 for about 8 months, He just went back to OEM because the Recons had fogged up. My plan is to eventually upgrade to OEM LEDs and until then, I might throw in the LED bulbs that have been discussed on this site in other threads.
Just make sure they are legal. Almost without exception aftermarket lighting is not. Take a look at Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 (FMVSS-108) which covers this subject in depth.
Low cost alternative that many of us have gone with. Unless you're stuck on having the daytime running light "C" shaped thing or similar to factory. Light quality is much better than factory halogen bulbs.

You can be in for a little over $100 for the 4 headlight bulbs and 2 switchbacks.
I installed these led lamps and they are great on light output
and they don't blind on coming traffic. The hardest part is taking the headlight off, you tube helped with that. I did the fogs and turn signals at the same
time.
I traded an Audi with excellent LED lights and ended up in my halogen F250.
First upgrade was to go to LED. I bought high quality replacement bulbs. I love them. 25,000 trouble free, flash free miles and they are incredibly bright.
This video show what I’m talking about. Save a ton of money and spend it on a sweet bed cover, flaps, tint, etc. and still get led lights.

I don't know about the 6.7 because I don't drive one. But on my 6.2 headlight removal was not necessary. I was able to get to the passenger side without much problem. On the driver side I removed the filler neck on the windshield washer tank and did what I needed to do.

Correct, not necessary to remove entire unit, just remove bulbs from the rear of headlamp.

I went with Beamtech search ebay for lowest price... bright light, nobody flashes me even after a 3.5"/1" level lift... work just fine way les expensive that others I saw mentioned here... $50 total shipped for both sides...
install: driver side-- like others said pop off filler tube neck and reach in.... passenger side I half undid wheelwell liner folded out of the way and reached up for access. very easy install
I did not have to remove the filler neck on my 6.2. I used a 2 step ladder and used my left hand while facing towards the rear of the truck to remove the driver side bulbs. I faced forward to remove the passenger side.
I got better positioning using my left hand then the right. The ladder was needed to get enough leverage to turn the bulbs.
I originally put a set of HID's in my truck when I got it, but for some reason it wouldn't run HID's in the fogs so I put LED's in there. I wasn't happy with the way the heads and fogs weren't the exact same color so I recently switched to the Beamtech's listed above in the heads and fogs and they all match perfect and look great. I should have gone this route the first time around. They will work fine if you use the daytime running light option also.
