Hello everyone. It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted on here. I just picked up a 1973 F250 Ranger Camper Special w/360.
we did a radiator flush today. To my surprise we only took out about 2 gallons. When we flushed and refilled, we only used about 2.5 gallons. My cause for concern is everyone I have read or know says we should be using at least 4-4.5 gallons.
Same thing here on my 1979 F350 camper special ( I think it's actually a trailer special) with a 460 engine, I draining and replaced my coolant, expecting it to be about 5 gallons, nope, was only about 2 or so in my truck as well!! Even after burp it seemed full to me..
