On my 2011 f150 3.5 ecb I cant fined the fuel filter. There is a black box of sorts mounted in front of the fuel tank that the fuel lines run in to. It doesn't look like it comes apart very easy. Is there a filter in it, or maybe a better question is what is it. My 2011 Expo has the same thing and I cant fined the fuel filter on it ether. I know the fuel filter is normal mounted on the frame rail. Thanks for the help.

I wonder if the average pump life is any longer with the fuel being filtered first? On the surface I don't like not having a serviceable filter, but I guess if the filter element can hold enough crap to outlive the pump its a non-issue.
