I looked up axle code 35 and it shows I have 4:10 gears. But I want to know if I have the Ford 8.8, Sterling, Dana, etc. I know I have full floating axles. When I took off the diff tag while changing gear oil, I saw what appeared to be "V129C" and "10 10 2 0E21". Can anyone tell me what the "10 10 2 0E21" means?
If the axle in question is the one out of the truck listed at the bottom of your post it would be a 10.25, that is what is in my 1989 f250. Also if it is the stock axle the code should be on your drivers side door post, also known as the "b" pillar. Look where it says axle code and then google the number and you will find out just what you have.
