I'm having the same issues with worn u-joints on my steering shaft and am having trouble removing it. I have the bolts on both ends off and the top end is loose from the steering column won't budge. The retaining collar spins around the shaft, but the shaft won't come free. Before I get too crazy with brute force or a cutting wheel, am I missing a trick or something? '76 F250 4X4.
