Sounds like a tech that doesn’t know what he’s talking about. There’s plenty that have gotten the one with the oem plug. I’d just follow the steps I had to take. That connector is available for purchase. I think I posted the part number as well

When hen I called recon the representative initially said they didn’t have a harness with the plug, however he went to the back and found the harness with the plug and mailed it to me.

I emailed them and now they claim there is no harness with a factory connector (and of course claimed most trucks don't have them). He said that I must referring to the connectors that attach to the lights, not the OEM connector in the A Pillar.

So, What am I missing? how many people have received a harness from RECON that has the mating factory connector for the connection in the passenger side A pillar? I can certainly work with the bare leads if necessary, but just confused by this whole thing.

Thanks

So I ran into another issue. I am using the Atomic LED lamps, and it turns out there is some sort of tolerance issue between the Atomic light heads, and Recon's harness. So I ended up tracking down the Ford factory harness (HC3Z-14335-DA). The connectors on the factory harness work perfect in the Atomic lamps, and of course has the factory A pillar connector, and the push pins to secure the harness in the roof panel. With a list price of 14.00 I am kicking myself for not going this route to begin with. I would recommend anyone adding lights just get the Ford harness.

If anyone needs a Recon harness PM me, will let it go for basically shipping cost.
