Is anyone familiar with the LMC door alignment tool for our dentsides?
I have the doors off of my 75 F250 and will likely be re-installing these alone.
Wondering if anyone has used this tool and can recommend for or against the use of this.
Thanks
Tbruz
I don't know about the tool, but I used a paint stirring stick for mine.
I snapped the stick in half and laid one half on the rocker/door jamb. Then I carried the door over and lifted it into place and latched it. I threaded the bolts in and snugged them down, and then stuck the other half of the stick behind the door, above the striker. Then I tightened down the bolts. This method works pretty well, but the tool might work better if it's any good.
We always just used a length of 2x4 under the door to the rocker. Or just grabbed the bottom of the door and lifted. It doesn't take much force to bend them where they need to go.
I haven,t seen this tool either. What meangreen said works well if the fenders are off the truck. If not make a stand to put under the door and have it set so the door is in the open position. Then you can put the bolts in, and then use the paint stir stick method. 2 jack stand work well.

Hmmm, I did have my whole doghouse off at the time, but I'd like to think I'd be able to get a door into place with the fenders still on - though I'm sure it would be considerably more difficult... I have swapped Fox Mustang doors with fenders still on.
I had been loosely planning on using the engine hoist to hang 'em into place, but lazed out and decided to try lifting one into place myself, to see if I could avoid dragging the hoist over.
