u might want to talk to others to see about upgrading to the 7.3 idi glow plug controller tho as the old 6.9s burned them up allot, i run a manual switch on mine.

Thank you for the warning I'll upgrade as that was burnt out since I bought it I also have a button in the cab as well I want to use the key so.my grandfather doesn't over use that button

Is the 7.3 idi controller just like the older ones as far as hooking in

no, they get wired differently.
if you go to the top of the page look for the Glow plugs, 87 thru 94, new style system stickie, and this will show you how to properly wire the relay and controller

If you are going to up grade to the ZD-9 GP`s and Controller. Pick up a set of the GP harness for the 6.0 Ford Diesels.
Good thread here on what you have to do. You can get both Harnesses off E-bay for around $25. Be sure you get
both sides, some sellers sell only one side at a time for a high price.
