I put a prefab box in my 16' F150 and it had to be less than 5.5 thick to allow the seats to fold. Can you tell me what the top and bottom thickness of your enclosure is?
OK that sounds great. I think I'm going to try and cheat and copy your set up. I guess I need to mock it up first and make sure it all fits with the layers of Dynamat (or clone stuff) and maybe some MLV. Did you apply Dynamat and MLV to your doors as well?
I did, I think the doors are probably the most important part to be honest. I only did dynamat (I actually use Noico, cheap off amazon and its the nice Butyl stuff that doesnt smell, you can get a boat load for $60-70) on the floors and walls. I did Noico and MLV on the doors. I took a bunch of pics when I was installing, but I accidently deleted the whole album I had. Next time I have the door panels off I'll get some more pics. Its really not that hard of a job at all, and boy does it make a difference.

I'll see if I can get measurements tonight. I also cut out the rear carpet on the wall to make more room, FYI.
This is an awesome thread. My wife is considering an F-150, and I may end up getting an F-350, and we both agreed that the Sony and B&O stereos are ok, but nowhere near as good as the stock Alpine system in our vehicles we have now. This is my second Ram in a row, and they are the only two vehicles I've ever had in my entire life that I didn't install a custom stereo in. So this info is good for more than one potential install.
My past GM truck had Bose, MUCH better than this supposedly upgraded Sony system.
The Subwoofer in the rear is pumping out enough, but the fidelity part (crispness) of the speakers is missing. Therefor, I may start with just replacing the speakers at first and see how that goes.
Was a little hard to measure without taking the whole thing out, but the top is 4" deep, the bottom about 5.5", and the whole thing is almost exactly 49" long.

I am considering options for a different sub woofer and upgrade to stereo. Does that box impede the seats folding at all. I want to find a solution that allows for seats to be fully folded up.
Finished the back wall and the C-pillars last night. Stuffed all the cavities with denim insulation. Had a total of 3-4 layers when we were finished. Tons of time but no dead space for sound.
Just bought this truck a couple weeks ago. Going to transfer the stereo from my old F150 into this one. Figured I'd do it right this time. I'm planning on keeping it for a long time anyway.
Today was tiles and MLV on the floor. Took all day. Going to finish the rear wall tomorrow. Planning on doing the same to the doors when I get the time. Still waiting on parts to come in to install the stereo, but at least the hard work is done by running the wiring. The stock floor was actually mostly covered in OEM deadener so I didn't need to used as many tiles as I anticipated. It's called FAIST if anyone knows what it is.
My only concern about MLV is does the stuff outgas? It's 110F here in the summers and I have to park the truck in the hot sun. So it could easily get to 120F+ inside. I'm worried that with the extreme heat, all sorts of VOCs will volatilize and leave a bad odor or the chemicals volatilized could be bad for me.
Spent a couple nights this week working on the rear doors. Definitely a learning curve involved here. I'm glad I started with the rears because I want the front doors to be perfect.
Removed the speakers because I haven't used rear speakers in forever. The diamond plate was originally plywood but turned out to be too thick to remount the door card.
I finally got speaker mounts for the front doors so that'll be this weekends project. Maybe even install the head unit and amps.
