Good morning everybody!
Finally some nice weather here, it's windy as all get out, but at least it's going to be in the 70's. Last week I mowed and trimmed the yard, went fishing that next day, then we had snow and sleet that same weekend.
Our home loan keeps chugging along. Our paperwork went to Underwriting, now we hurry up and wait again. We're about 5 weeks away from closing, unless the husband of the couple we're buying the house from get's back in the country on time or early, then we could get moved to May 1st for closing.
Just checking in. Hope y'all are doing well.

I think you are good on the Lexington Dinner. I didn't see anything about it, so I doubt it happened. Last month we hit Raeford for grub.

Sounds like things are moving along for you. Well the closing won't be till after the Spring camping trip, so you can still make it!

I'm relieved to hear that. Tried The Monk back in January per NC James's recommendation and have been itching for an excuse to get back ever since. It's about 90 minutes' drive for me from here but would be totally worth the stretch

Good morning fellers!
Tell you what, I'd trade you weather in two degrees, we'll warm up to freezing, and only 40 for the high. Tornadoes just a couple of counties away from us Friday evening. Gotta love Spring, if it ever get's here and stays.
We did finally get through Underwriting on the house, and all went well. They do have some more documents that they want us to get, then hopefully this mess will be over with. This has been the worst home buying experience that we've had, more than the other two combined.
Tim is about to be released from his physical therapy, and I think he's about had enough of the new boss that the dealership has hired. Sound like they got them a full fledged boss hole, and he's about had enough. I told him that's what your gonna find more of, being in the big city, but I'm just his dad.
Well there's goes another Spring day......it just started snowing.
Y'all behave, I'll be thinking about you this next weekend.

We had a pretty good storm blow through on Sunday night. Other than that just been getting ready for the camping trip and trying to plan the fishing trip, trying to coordinate with 4 families, 18 people is becoming more work than is worth it. Think we still have some open bunks though, if anyone is interested. Hope everyone is doing well.

Well decided to go root hunting with the cub cadet.

Root - 1
Cub Cadet - 0

So now I am off to get a new set of blades, if a squirrel doesn't run out and distract me first.
