ahhh just hook the truck up and pull it over. What's the point in a winch that just sits?
i thought maybe id use it about once a year or something like that.. so far ive already used it 3 times in the last 2 months lol... that little winch is strong too.. when we were trying to load the 79 onto the tilt bed trailer when the come along broke. i hooked the winch up to the suburban and went to pull on it.. instead of pulling the suburban up and onto the trailer it started to pull the suburban, the trailer and dads truck which was still connected to the trailer to "keep it still" into the street.. lol

Yep. Should use a block on the trailer so that it is being held by the winch as well. They are terribly useful tools to have, particularly when you are feeling lazy. Last time I hooked one up was to pull a fence out of the ground I think.

we just put blocks of concrete in front of dads truck tires... managed to keep it from rolling into the street.. and not meaning cinder blocks.. these were blocks of concrete we had poured into the ground to hold the old flag pole... wind snapped the pole and had to dig the concrete out to pour the new footer for the new pole..
Hey VA James. How's life. Still in school. Or are you teaching yet? Sorry if you already told me.

Completed the Career Switcher program in December and have my provisional license with an endorsement to teach High School/Middle School Social Studies. I've attended several area teaching job fairs and have had a couple of interviews so far. Right now, all the school systems are still waiting to see what sort of vacancies they'll have for the upcoming school year, so it's more of a waiting game than anything. In the meantime, I'm still selling insurance at a State Farm agency licensed in both VA and NC. So if you guys need anything on that front....hit me up
