2016 Have a High Idle
Hey guys , I just picked up a 2016 F-450 do the 6.7's have a high idle or AIC controller like the only 7.3 .
I have not had a Ford Diesel in 18yrs , I am playing both sides of the manufactures ... I also have a 2016 GMC 3500 Duramax SRW and that truck has a High Idle control built into the truck controlled on the steering wheel .

The 6.7l will idle up in cold weather. The colder the weather the higher the idle.
We can add our own SEIC with the use of a resistor and one upfitter switch.

Hi: I set up the High idle Mod in my 2016 6.7. It is very easy to do if you are comfortable working with wiring. mine is hooked up to the #3 upfitter switch.
I used a Fixed 20,000 ohm Resistor between wht/brn, and Green to get 1200rpm when engaged.If you use the Potentiometer as shown in pic idle speed will be variable.
Hope this helps. BTW parking brake must be depressed and truck in park for it to work
