Doesn't sound normal, but you're going to have to be more descriptive to help us pinpoint a problem.

Do you have a scanner or gauge set up to work with?

Did you ever replace your oil cooler and switch to an EC-1 rated ELC coolant? Still haven't seen an oil temp over 205*F?

I have a scan guage and that's about it. The truck runs fine but it seems like I have to go half throttle for the rpms to go up, but the truck still speeds up even at lower rpms.

54k miles on an 05, good chance the turbo is sticking.

Can you provide some boost numbers?

Yes. And also the typical engine info: ICP/IPR, voltage, FICM_V, and VGT%.

When did you do this and about what did they charge you? I've been considering this myself, but I got a ridiculous estimate from the dealer I like to go to...

Sorry for the thread drift OP...
