Oil Cooler

Hello

Has anyone come up with a method to pressure test the engine oil cooler. I have an 05 that has what appears to be good engine oil in the pan (what is left). But what is in the cooling system is an engine oil/coolant mix. The only place I see it coming from is the engine oil cooler. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely it is coming from the oil cooler. The oil pressure being much greater than the coolant pressure it leaks into the coolant and shows up in the degas bottle.

That was were my thoughts were at, the only thing that made sense. What are your thoughts on flushing the cooling system ?

I think with alot of fresh water and simple green the system can be saved.
