I think the LED lights are fugly. I prefer the XL and XLT lights. If you make a light that's LED and supposed to look cool, you better hit a home run with it. Otherwise it looks contrived and distracting.
Your truck has a rear view mirror? That's cute.
I'm 100% the opposite. Those Halogen ****-yellow lights are the absolute pitts! I mean even my young Son now see's one in oncoming traffic and deems it a "cheap old truck".
LED's not only look awesome but they preform equally as well.
I have owned my F350 Lariat Ultimate CCLB for about a month now. Absolutely LOVE the truck and most everything about it. I know this has been mentioned before...but come on Ford, I spend darn near $60k before tax on this thing and you can't even give me LED lights or something that looks like it came out of the 21st century? Even the $15k Hyundai in the lane next to me has LED lights from the factory. Just a joke, man.
Before you ordered your truck or before you purchased it off the dealer lot, didn`t you do any research on what features are on the truck or what features you wanted?
No need to vent or be upset about a feature that`s not on your truck after the fact because this is 100% your fault.
Full LED lights on all F150`s and SD require a trim or package upgrade which equals more money.

Have a great day.
You're completely missing his point. He knew what he was getting and accepted it, but is still upset that at this price point the manufacturer could not include these things as standard. It bothers him when he sees economy cars come with these things. I think he makes a valid point.
My biggest complaint is with the halogen headlights on my Lariat with Value Pkg. Unacceptable lighting for a modern vehicle. Following with great interest all the threads about changing the bulbs to LED lights.
I agree. Few times I thought my lights were turned off in the city. I just couldn't tell. I switched mine out with better halogens. Helped but still not great.
My biggest Gripes: 3 year old maps for Nav system, no Google Maps in Apple CarPlay, Why does phone have to be plugged in to USB to use all of the features?, FordPass must have been some Junior high schooler's "Hello World". Oh and the tailgate step will blowout my vertically challenged knees. Oh when we rented a car, wife complained it did not have heated seats.

No, I didn`t miss his point and I do understand how you agree with him.
I just find it weird or strange when one thinks the price of something should also include another feature that`s on a cheaper or less expensive item or in this case, a vehicle.

"If a person wants all of the fancy junk then step up and get a higher end model if that's what's important. I think people just like to complain."
Um, reading comprehension helps, guys. MY complaint was, these options were not available on a Supercab, at any price. No Platinum, no King Ranch, no Lariat Ultimate. You can't get them, they are not offered. I've saved for years to buy my truck. I'm older, I ache, and for once in my life I would like a few luxuries because, well, I think I've earned it. I knew what I was getting into when I purchased. It's not "100% my fault" and I can't step up to a higher end truck because there isn't one offered. I'm just going with the theme of the thread, which is..."what's your biggest complaint?"

All in all VERY happy with it.
Why would Apple allow Google Maps to work in it`s car specific interface. That`s what AA is for.
I actually think the complaints about the armrest and auto dim mirror are right on the money...since the same exact trim level (XLT) had these features as standard on a 2011-2016 truck. Why *wouldn't* anyone be disappointed when they buy a newer truck and it has less features?
It's a way to get a hidden price increase; de-content .. . .
Never had a problem with the Garage Door Opener, but... on my 2000 Lincoln LS, when I held down the Door Unlock on the remote, all the windows went down and the roof opened up, a real plus on a dark color vehicle.
...new truck will be 2018 F350 Lariat CCLB 4X4 Diesel White Gold 5th wheel tow.

I too dearly wish the LED headlights were available in Super Cab (they are in Canada and on F150 SC). But even for Crew Cab's they make you get the Lariat Ultimate package. Would be nice if they were a standalone option as I feel they would be a very popular option. Also wish they would stop limiting trim/options in the Super Cab's in general as I have no interest in Crew Cab and it sours me on buying a truck when I can't get the options that I want and the new technology always coming out. It is starting to be unusual for a vehicle that can cost upwards of $65k (or even $30k) not to even have option of LED's too.
