SD style Valve cover gaskets have bigger pins for the GPs which should not burn out so easy compared to the OBS ones.

Well, the shop said the tops of my glowplugs looked pitted, splattered and kind like blow up. like welded, that is the top of the GP. They said they never saw this before. was like holes / large pits in the metal. all of them were bad. I had ford GP put back in. I don't remember the brand used before. auto lights I think. Knotty, are you saying there is a larger glowplug pin? newer style GP?

the GP pin in the UVCH connector is better on the SD ones

They all use ZD11 GPs
