I installed new blades not long ago. I cant remember if they were Bosch or Trico, but they weren't the cheap ones. For some reason, if there isn't sufficient rain or mist to coat the windshield on the down stroke these things stick and "chatter" all the way down. Aside from being annoying as hell it cant be good for the wiper motor either. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Maybe try using a windshield fluid with an additive? I use the Rain-X infused fluid here...works great, and helps the water bead off the window. I also apply the Rain-X coating manually a few times a year. Usually the blades will chatter then they start to dry out.
I've found that the Motorcraft wipers (available on Amazon) are the best out there. Try putting a little washer fluid on a paper towel and wipe your blades down - you should do this every few weeks anyway and the OEM wipers will last over a year.

Agreed... Buy you a set of Motorcraft wipers and forget about them.
I've been using RainX window cleaner for a while now and have no complaints with the result. But I'm always open to new things for the truck so I ordered a package of 6 Aquapel applicators and a can of Aquapel glass cleaner.
As far as wiper blades, I've always been happy with the blades that have come on my Ford trucks from the factory.
Not so much on this go round. Truck was built in late July 2017 and I bought it 8/28/17. Driver side wiper (go figure) is already leaving streaks across the center of the windshield on a regular basis. Windshield has been cleaned a few times and the blades wiped down with an alcohol pad but relief does not last long.
I just might scoot down to the local NAPA today and see what's in stock for new blades.
